How do you make a conference about inflation look inviting to college students? The director of CSAD came to me with this challenge that involved creating an event identity for his office’s biennial conference with the goal of gaining more student audience members. My response was crafting an identity that was discovered by seeking the dynamic nature of a decidedly non-dynamic thing: the U.S. dollar symbol.
