Print and packaging
This past fall, I was tasked by my admissions colleagues with creating a welcome package for those newly accepted to Kenyon that would make them feel joyfully initiated into our community. This package was to include a purple knit hat with our wordmark, an embroidered owl patch, a backing card, and a custom box. With a tight January mailing deadline, I collaborated with three vendors for hats, patches, and packaging/fulfillment, all while leading the design process.
I designed the beanie, illustrated a 2” iron-on owl patch, typeset the backing card with strategic patch placement, and managed box sizing and proofing. Clear, consistent communication with the admissions team, my supervisor, and vendors was key to delivering this complex, high-impact project on time.
